An announcement from the LG office stated that "LG has instructed DSIIDC to provide a six-month extension to the allottees in industrial areas of Narela, Bhorgarh, and Bawana in the North West Delhi under the relocation scheme for depositing the remaining cost of the plot and for applying for NOC for construction of factory building."
The Delhi State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) was instructed by Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena on Wednesday to provide allottees in the industrial zones of Narela, Bhorgarh, and Bawana under the relocation programme a six-month extension. The LG also voiced his dissatisfaction with the DSIIDC's inability to follow his instructions and present the action taken report pertaining to basic services in the areas to him, even after four months had passed.
"LG has directed DSIIDC to grant an extension of six months to the allottees in industrial areas of Narela, Bhorgarh and Bawana in the North West Delhi under the relocation scheme for depositing the balance cost of plot and for applying for NOC for construction of factory building," according to a statement issued by the LG office.
Saxena rejected the DSIIDC's suggestion to provide a four-month extension.
"If allottees are not taking possession of plots or not constructing units over them despite having paid the amount for allotment, it is a clear indication that lack of basic services are deterring them from doing so," Saxena wrote in the dossier.
According to a statement from the LG office, the LG gave DSIIDC many instructions in October 2023 to build infrastructure suitable for ease of doing business because no upgrades had been made in the previous ten years.
Saxena gave the go-ahead for the establishment of a single window in the DSIIDC for handholding or clearances needed for the batch of allottees.
Within seven days, a report on the actions performed in this regard may be given to his secretariat, and the officers responsible for their inaction up to this point may be held accountable, the LG stated.
